Zombies!!!

Most everyone has seen or heard of some sort of Zombie movie or show. Many people have say they would be ready to face an outbreak of zombies but how can they really be sure. The most important moments is when the outbreak starts. Where will you be and how will your first reaction be when you are faced with such a thing.
When the outbreaks does begin the first thing you must do is to get away and FAST! Go to your families and get them to pack as much stuff as you can possibly carry while still being light on your feet. You must make choices that might change everything in one moment. What kind of food do you bring and what type of personal objects do you choose to take with you.
Once you decide what your are taking with you, you must decide your location. The best places to go are places that are either wide open say like a field or a large piece or property that you have a decent viewing spot. I think the most best spot that someone can find has to be an island. 
Now Zombies are not your only enemy you must face. Other humans trying to survive are also out for your blood. These people will kill you just for the food on your back or even just for fun. Now not everyone out there is out to get you so you must be careful when you run into someone. The more people you have the more protected you are. But also the more people you have the more likely you will be inflicted by disease since you will be living so closely to one another.
When and if you become face to face with zombie to not hesitate you must act very quickly. Then get you, your family and any supplies you deem necessary in your possession. Once you do that quickly get someone where you think you could be safe for a decent amount of time. Good Luck.

Out of the Woods

The article  "Out of the Woods: Today's kids Can't See the Forest for the MTV" was the one i read for this blog assignment. The author explains that he has children and he is trying so hard to get the children to go outside and play. As we all know from the society we do live in the children are not very interested in going outside. I am Twenty-two years old and my older brother is Twenty-Four so we are very close in age. I remember going outside with him and the neighbor kids that lived near and we would do all sorts of things. I know my favorite thing to do outside would to play neighborhood tag. The four blocks we all played on was our playground. We had the best layout to play these sort of things, twisted ally ways and that curved and created the best hiding places. I also remember getting all of my cousins together and having an epic water balloon fight. The fort in the backyard made it the best place to be when defending against the other children. There was some days where there were no neighborhood kids or cousins to play with, just my brother and I. We would come up with the most boring things to do to pass the long summer days. Making a mud pie, or throwing a tennis ball against the outside of the garage wall, whatever we could do to not be so bored. Like the author said the children now-a-days just do not get bored like we used too. They have all sorts of fancy gadgets that you can play any number of games on. But i firmly believe that every child should know what is it like to climb a tree so high looking down makes your stomach feel weird. Or what is feels like to play in a sprinkler outside, or even know what a pet worm can be like as an outside pet. I really hope that this spring that someone of these kids do understand the excitement of finding mushrooms in the forest.

Tattoos

Tattoos many people do not think that they are for them. Some people even think that anyone with a tattoo are immature or even some kind of criminal. I could not disagree more with these type of comments.
Tattoos are experiences first off. The cheapest tattoo that i had ever had was fifty dollars. I would say they are priced like jewelry and they look just as good. The bigger they are the more they cost. No matter how much money you spent on a tat you can never lose it like you would a diamond.  Since you can never lose the tattoo it will always be with you. Never have to remember where you placed it or remember to put it on in the morning.
Tattoos are also a great way to express yourself and your creativity. Having a tattoo can tell a story of someones life or even tell a story of what you want out of life. Whether is be a rest in peace tattoo to remember a lost loved one or a child's name to show them how much you love them. Or even having your favorite quote from your favorite book is a great way to express yourselves.
So no i do not think that tattoos are a waste of money and i do not think that people with tattoos are criminals. If you do not want a tattoo then that's fine its your choice but do not look down upon those who do. Do not discriminate against the ones who want to express themselves.

Society is Dead

People now days are always walking around with something that can play music, it may be a mp3 or a phone. But we all have a way to listen to whatever we want to shut the world out. This is turning out to be a rather huge problem in society. You can not talk to the guy on the bus if he has a pair of ear phones in can you? Or if you are at a bar bar how are you supposed to meet new people with your nose stuck in your phone. In our pockets we have the whole world at the touch of a finger, and this makes us less social creatures. Yes we can talk to anyone from anywhere but while you are doing that there a kind man or woman that you could have a face to face conversation with. This author says just that in his article, he explains how unsocial and conservative we are because of the phones we own. He is absolutely right! When you go out to a restaurant how many people are actually having a stimulating conversation and how many are just playing on their phones?  If society continues to go forward like this our future kids are not going to know how to act in a social situation. As a group we need to say enough is enough and put down the phones and the gadgets and have a conversation with a stranger. We need to do with for us and the future of our families so they can experience human to human connections that you get from interacting with one another.
